Daddy
Upon shoulders strong, a sturdy perch I find,
A realm of love, on heights of heart entwined.
My daddy's arms, a haven pure and true,
A Christian bond, with grace to construe.
He lifts me high, above life's earthly cares,
A sacred dance, two souls that faith declares.
In every step, a prayer, a tender song,
A journey blessed, where love and faith belong.
His shoulders bear the weight of worldly strife,
Yet in his gaze, I see eternal life.
A Christian father's love, a gift divine,
In every lift, God's grace and mercy shine.
A metaphor of Christ, my father's role,
To carry me, to guide, to make me whole.
On shoulders broad, a sacred trust is laid,
A love unspoken, in every step portrayed.
